Annual Conference

Scottish Badgers annual conference is the only specialist badger conference in Scotland and draws speakers, members and guests, from all over the UK. If you have a professional or personal interest in badgers, their biology, ecology and welfare this event is not to be missed.

Malcolm Ingham: Ecologist, former countryside ranger, expert-witness and author of “From Badgers to Nighthawks”.

Enda Mullen: Ecologist with the National Parks and Wildlife Service in Ireland, part of the N11 badger research team and has published a number of papers on badger behaviour and distributions in farmyard and forestry.

Debbie Bailey: Lead co-ordinator of the Derbyshire Badger Vaccination Project, expert-witness, rehabilitator of injured badgers and cubs. 2018 winner of IFAW National Award.

Michael McCaskill: Currently completing an MRes project with the University of Glasgow on the spatial distribution and temporal use of badger nests in central Scotland.

Alex Koscielski: Environment Manager for Siemens Mobility Rail services.
