Badgers in our Landscape - finding, monitoring & protection
with John Darbyshire

Thursday 27th October 2016

Chatelherault Country Park nr. Hamilton

19.30 - 21.00

Join Scottish Badgers at the Auditorium at Chatelherault Country Park, nr. Hamilton, on the evening of Thursday 27th October 2016 for our inaugural Autumn lecture! We are delighted to have esteemed badger expert John Darbyshire as our speaker at this event, hosted by the new Lottery-funded Badgers in the Landscape project. John has many years experience with badgers, from his work at Falls of Clyde where he set up both the badger and peregrine watches. Since 2000, he has been a full time environmental consultant and part time lecturer at Edinburgh University. John will share a unique and fascinating insight into badgers, surveying and protection. There will be plenty of time at the end to ask John your badger questions!

There will also be stalls with an opportunity to purchase our lovely badger t-shirts, cuddly toys and gift memberships in time for Christmas!

Everyone is welcome at this event! Registration is required as places are limited. Registration is free, with donations welcome on the door on the night (suggested donation £5.00). Chatelherault is only 1 hour from Edinburgh and Ayr, 30-40 minutes from Glasgow and Falkirk. Plenty of free parking and a great opportunity to catch up with other badger enthusiasts and learn more! We hope to see you there!
