Scottish Badger Week 2020 - Day 1 Brockcraft

Posted on

It’s LAUNCH DAY for Scottish Badger Week! We’re super excited to get stuck in to the week ahead, and today will be starting with BROCKCRAFT! We’re giving you the whole week to produce some spectacular badger themed artwork for us, whether it’s a whimsical watercolour, punchy print, or a silly sculpture, we would love to see where your imagination will take you! To make it a bit more exciting, we will be running a wee competition with all your submissions following four separate categories for age groups:

  • Cubs (Under 5’s),
  • Weans (Primary aged),
  • Juveniles (Secondary aged) and
  • Adults (well… adults)

To keep it easy to share and view submissions, we’ve created a brand new group BROCKCRAFT 2020 which you can find via Facebook.

When you post your creations please note what age category it’s for, the winner per age group will be the picture with the most likes! You can either post directly to the group, private message us on the page or email (and we can share it on your behalf). Please only one entry per person.

So, we need you not only to create some beautiful brockcrafts, but to vote for your favourites too! There may even be a little prize at the end too 😉 If you have artist block, never fear, for each day this week we have a subject theme which will also include an art prompt for the day. We’re keeping in mind all age groups and craft items for this to allow anyone a chance to take part. You can keep tabs of each days art prompt on the ‘Files’ page on the BROCKCRAFT 2020 group.
