While we prefer OS Grid References as a location, the form will accept latitude/longitude, Eastings and Northings, and also What3Words - just be sure to add a note in the 'comments' about what system you've used!

Please note some of our users have reported issues with the form submitting their data - if you have trouble submitting the form please send the information of your report to directly in order for your information to be logged.

The Badger Sett - Essential Information
  1. Please enter the following essential information. This basic data amounts to where, when and by whom.
  2. The name of the road eg A9 or B9161

  3. A minimum 6-figure (100m) NGR is preferred. In extremis, postcodes may be used, and in some cases the NGR may be derived from the place name. If both place and NGR are given, there is a check for errors.

  4. Where is the badger, near a farm junction or other fixed point?

  5. This may allow necessary follow-up checks to be made.

  6. To avoid ambiguity please use the format DD Month YYYY
